CHRISTMAS EVE

Christmas Eve at my parent's house is always the highlight of Christmas.
Before we opened presents we read the Christmas story in the Bible, just to remind us of the real reason for the season.
Then we listened as Mom read our family's "Events of 2010".
It was amazing how much has happened this year in the life of our family.
We have been amazingly blessed!

This year we had stockings for Mam-Maw and Pa.
As Pa was opening the stuff in his, Mam-Maw made the comment that they are both in their 70's and have never had stockings until this year! That is such a special thing to be apart of!
I am so blessed to be able to spend Christmas with my grandparents each year.
We have so much fun...they definitely keep us laughing!

Me and my favorite sister :)

Me and Tandi with the best Mom/Grammie in the world!

We love our Mam-Maw and Pa!
This was a really old book that my great-grandma had given my Dad after I was born.
Inside she had written for him to give me when I grew up.
Seeing her handwriting made me cry.

 Brady the little orange elf!

Brady giving his rattle a lick or two

We got Pa a "big man's" fold out chair...he had to try it out in the living room immediately!

Mam-Maw was slightly surprised at her jewelry box we got her!

Mom got me a really cute apron...Johnny thought it was lingerie!

Dad's cornhole game that was his birthday present

Stacy got some new underwear, we've named them "happy pants"

Johnny was so excited to get "snuggy pants" as he calls them
