What happens when Adonia makes this much pizza dough???

We have Italian Night at the Kennedy's!

We had our choice between either a calzone or a "create-your-own pizza".

Adonia and I were the only ones that chose pizzas, so everyone else got to eat their calzones first.

My pizza "creation" consisted of cheese, pepperoni, and fresh mushroom.

Mmmm...it was soooo good!!

The gooey inside of the calzones contained sausage, onion, bell pepper (yuck!), garlic, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Everyone was pretty much silent as soon as they sat down.

And for dessert...

Adonia's first ever fresh fruit pie with a lattice top.

We had some laughter over the lattice...

she was telling us that it was her first one, but she pronounced it "la-tisse".

And after she said it like that I couldn't that out of my head to come up with the correct pronunciation. Good thing Kevin was there to set us all straight!

The food was delizioso (delicious in Italian). We all went home with a full belly and ready for bed.
