50 years of memories

As one of Mom's gifts, she received a 50th birthday memory book put together by yours truly!

Inside was one page for each lady who attended the birthday weekend containing four questions...

1. My favorite thing about Darlene...

2. The funniest thing I ever saw Darlene do...

3. My most memorable moment with Darlene...

4. My 50th birthday wishes for Darlene...

After dinner tonight we each read our pages to her.

There were lots of tears...

and lots of laughter...

mostly both at the same time.

It was a special chance for us all to express to Mom how precious she is!

Mam-Maw's words to Mom were beautiful.

Sheila "preached" to us from Proverbs as she used the scriptures to describe Mom.

(Same verses I blogged on Mom's bday...great minds think alike!)

Then...it was Tandi's turn...
She couldn't decide if she wanted to cry or laugh...mostly both!

During Tandi's stories, Mom's hysterical laughter...

quickly turned to embarassment!!
