Mom's 50th birthday was a big day...
So tonight we decided to celebrate big...
with a big steak at The Peddler in Gatlinburg!
If you have never been...it is the best steak I've ever had.
I actually did not have to use A1 on my steak...and for anyone who knows me...
that is big!
When we all got ready to leave for dinner Mom looked around and said...
"We're all wearing black"
We laughed and said...
"Yeah - we planned it like that...we're in mourning because you have turned 50!"
The rare chance to sit down to dinner with 9 wonderful women was such a treat.
The food was great, but the time spent together was priceless.
Another plus...during dinner it stopped raining!!
